In today’s globally competitive era, the winds of reforms have changed the fundamentals of economy. NEP 2020 is keen on maneuvering the tides of social reforms. It acknowledges that the world is rapidly growing into a global village and the globalization of education is inevitable.

Swami Vivekananda once said, “Education is the manifestation of perfection already existing in man and character is the test of that manifestation.” In line with this, at M.L. Dahanukar College of Commerce, all the stakeholders aim to ignite the flame of thirst for knowledge in the minds of our learners. We provide a fertile environment for the holistic development of learners during their formative years. Challenges need to be encountered with motivation, determination and commitment. We ensure that the challenges are met and that we strive for success and excellence at every juncture. This can certainly enable the learners to achieve excellence in their pursuit of knowledge and it will ultimately contribute to the development of society.

We take special efforts to improve the skills of our learners. We cater to their all-round needs and strive hard for their holistic development. Besides providing with the prescribed curricula, we offer a healthy blend of academic, cultural, artistic, sports and literary activities to enrich learners’ experiences and provide them with an integral personality. We give them an opportunity to express themselves and learn skills as per their own potential.

As an autonomous institution, teaching is no longer just about transmitting knowledge, rather it is more significantly involves shaping and transforming young minds. Thereby, it has the propensity to support and motivate the adolescent learners as prerequisite from every educator as education is the acquisition of knowledge and skills to build character to enhance employability opportunity for our young talents.

I feel education should not be confined to books but should empower individuals to explore various avenues. With a vision of intense progress through positivity and a mission of extreme achievement through harmony, I join hands with the members of our teaching and non-teaching staff and students to guide the institution towards a brighter tomorrow.

We believe that education is a tremendous responsibility, not just an activity. We ensure high quality education which motivates and empowers our learners to be lifelong learners and the productive members of society. We assume moral and social responsibility in every activity of ours as a matter of conscience.
